Rockmount Bipods

Does anyone have any experience of Rockmount as opposed to Harris bipods. The are quite a lot cheaper but seem to be same spec. Ebay has 9-13" "S" type for £48.88, as opposed to over £65 for the Harris model (which is still considerably cheaper than in the local gun shop).

I've got two Rockmount ones and one Harris. Both Rockmount bipods lost the nut on the end of one of the pivot pins. As I have discovered, the Harris ones are in a class of their own. Go Harris - far better build.

I have two Rockmounts and a Harris. The Rockmounts have had extensive use for 4 years without any problems. Perhaps I have been lucky with mine.

 

At the end of the day the Harris are very good, the Harris on my 6.5 has been on this rifle and a couple of others >12 years - still going strong.

 

I would recommend which ever way you go, to get the swivel variety - so much easier on uneven ground

i have 120 yard head shot on a rabbit with the hmr mind you i was in the 4x4 on the window
